A former Commissioner for Works and Transportation in Oyo state, Prof. Rapheal Afonjam has lost his father, Dr Afonja Joseph Ade to the cold hands of death.

Newsmen gathered that Joseph Ade, age 82, died today at the UCH, Ibadan, on Tuesday, after a brief illness.

Although details of his death have not been made known officially, sources told our reporter that he passed on after a brief stay at the hospital.

At the time of filling this report, his corpse is still at the hospital before it will be taking to Ogbomoso.
