Fire Breaks Out at Agbeni Market in Ibadan

In the early hours of Sunday morning, Agbeni Market was engulfed in flames. The incident occurred at approximately 4:30am, according to reliable sources.

Yemi Akinyemi, the General Manager of Fire Services for the state, confirmed the news when contacted by our correspondent. He stated that his agency received a distress call at 4:37am from Sunday Ogundele, the security officer at Access Bank, reporting that Agbeni market was on fire.

“Our men are still battling with the job, we are grateful to Central Bank of Nigeria that allows us to use their water supply. Everything is under control. They are still going to CBN to replenish”, he confirmed.
