Governor Makinde Pledges to Shock Critics With Wave of Commissioned Projects

Governor Seyi Makinde has promised to surprise the residents of Oyo State and shut the doubters who ask what projects he has completed up with the sheer volume of projects he will embark on, starting from now till the end of the year.


The governor was at the inauguration of the new staff clinic of the State Secretariat, Ibadan where he also donated 9 mass transit buses for Oyo State Secretariat workers when he made these remarks to the press.


He said that the staff clinic has been upgraded to assure civil servants in the state of quality healthcare and criticized the past administration before his for claiming to be the “Architect of Modern Oyo State” and neglecting to provide the State House clinic with even an ambulance.


He stated his awareness of social media critics who criticize his every move and promised to shock those critics when he begins to inaugurate different projects.

The Governor also launched the Start Them Early Programme (STEP) at Methodist High School in Challenge, Ibadan aimed at equipping Secondary school students with relevant agribusiness skills.
