Governor Makinde Revokes Saki Township Road Project, To Re-award To New Contractor

Oyo Governor Seyi Makinde on Wednesday revoked the ongoing Saki Township road project.

According to the Nation, the Governor, who commissioned the N750milllion Saki Specialist Hospital Saki, also promised to complete at least 351 model Primary Health Centre across all the 351 wards in the state before the end of his administration.
Apparently responding and granting the request from the Okere of Saki, Oba Khalid Oyedepo, Makinde said revocation of the contract was imperative because of the health challenges the delay has caused the people of the region.

He assured within the next four weeks, the project would be re-awarded to a new contractor that would deliver.
