High Court, Iyaganku Magistrate Court to be Reconstructed as Makinde Approves N6.1Billion for Project

The Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde has on Wednesday, approved the reconstruction and redevelopment of Oyo State High Court Complex at Ring Road and Magistrate Court at Iyaganku, Ibadan.

The decision was made on Wednesday at the State Executive Council meeting held at the Governor’s Office, Agodi, Ibadan.

Briefing newsmen shortly after the council meeting presided over by the governor, the Honourable Commissioner for Public Works and Transport, Professor Kehinde Sangodoyin said the reconstruction of the two complexes has been awarded to a construction company at the sum of N6.1billion on Alternative Project Funding Approach.

The duration for the completion of the two complexes is 18 months, phase one is expected to be completed by February 2023 while the phase 2 will commence immediately.

Similarly, the Executive Council also approved new waste management initiative to help in proffering lasting solution to the issue of waste management in the state.

The Honourable Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Honourable Abiodun Oni said Monttanai Company has been licensed to take care of waste management in the state following his zero money – zero waste proposal, which was approved.

  1. Has ‘Seyi MAKINDE forgotten that he pledged not to leave debt or any uncompleted job for his successor?
    I wish him Best of Lucks and humbly advice him to correct the disheartening increasing rate of insecurity.
