The member representing Ibadan Southwest/ Northwest Federal Constituency ay the House of Representatives, Hon. Adedeji Stanley Olajide (Odidi Omo) has joined other son of the soil and well meaning Nigerians to mourn the immediate former Governor of Oyo State, late Sen. Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi.
According to a release by his director digital media and publicity Prince Wale Akanbi, Hon. Olajide describe Sen. Ajimobi as a true son of ibadanland, elder statesman and distinguished administrator who live his life to make significant impact in the lives of the people, Oyo State and Nigeria in general.
The statement reads..
“It is our wish to have him within us still, but H.E. late, Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi, the immediate past Governor of Oyo State came to the world and has finally returned to where he belongs. He will surely be missed within the political circle most especially as the first governor that won re-election as a second term governor in the history of Oyo State”.
Further said death is inevitable as we shall all return to Almighty to give account of our deed, he advised other persons to learn from the late governor and imbibe the culture of simplicity that one day we will all become history.
He extends his deepest sympathies to the people of Ibadanland, the imperial majesty the Olubadan of Ibadanland Oba Saliu Adetunji (Aje ogungunniso the first), Oyo State and the Governor of the State H.E Engr. Seyi Makinde.
Hon. Olajide pray that God comfort the Ajimobi family and give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
