“One good turn deserves another” goes a popular saying which aptly describes the recent gesture of the Member of the House of Representatives representing Ibadan North West/South West Constituency of Oyo State, Hon Adedeji Stanley popularly called Odidi-Omo, who showered Gifts on Religious clerics in his constituency for their roles in his life and society in general.
The Gifts which ranged from cars, cash and also donations were made to Islamic clerics during Jumat service which also had in attendance other Muslim faithful living in the Community of Chief imam of Lebanon Central Mosque.
The Lawmaker personally showered encomiums on the Chief Imam for his prayers and support and then presented him a new Honda Pilot SUV as gratitude.
Going down memory lane and also appreciating the mercies of God upon his life, Hon Adedeji Stanley also worshiped with Christian faithful in four various churches within his constituency.
The churches include the Ebenezer Cathedral in Anfani road, The Redeemed Christian Church trinity in Assembly Adeoyo road, Rescue Soul Mission Church and C&S movement Church located at Surulere area of Oke-bola in Ibadan.
During the Church services at the afore-stated Churches, he made cash donations to the churches for maintaining unity within his constituency and state at large harping that one of the Ordinances of God to mankind is Unity.
In their responses, the clergymen appreciated Hon. Adedeji Olajide for identifying with God and prayed for more success and also applauded him for initiating projects such as provision of basic amenities, dredging and channelization of various rivers within his constituency.
