Hoodlums Disguised As Army Officers Kidnap Farmer In Ibadan

A commercial farmer has reportedly been kidnapped by some gunmen in Olukitibi Village, Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The farmer who was identified as Mr. Wole Agboola was allegedly attacked and kidnapped while working on his farm on Monday at Abaodo area of the village and taken to an unknown destination.
According to rumours, his abductors, about six in number wore army uniforms during the attack that left some of Agboola’s workers assaulted and missing.

A source, who spoke to newsmen on the condition of anonymity, said apart from reporting the case at the Moniya Police Station, family members also solicited the assistance of the Amotekun Corp.

However, the abductors are yet to reach out to family members on the terms of Agboola’s release.

As at the time of reporting this news, the police are yet to confirm the incident as the Police Public Relations Officer, Olugbenga Fadeyi, hasn’t responded to texts or WhatsApp messages sent to him.
