Ibadan Circular Road: Oyo Govt Commences Reverification for Omitted Property Owners

The Oyo State Government has launched a reverification exercise for property owners on the first phase of the Senator Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road who have yet to receive compensation for their affected lands.

The exercise, which began Monday, April 27, 2026, aims to capture over 900 persons who were omitted during the initial compensation payout.

CP Sunday Odukoya (rtd), chairman of the monitoring committee for compensation payments, announced that affected property owners should visit the Ministry of Lands or the office of the Executive Assistant on Security to the governor to verify their names.

Claimants are required to submit documents including Local Government identification, survey plans, land purchase agreements, sworn affidavits, National Identification Numbers (NIN), bank details, and passport photographs, among others.

The government had previously approved N5.8 billion on April 22, 2026, for another tranche of compensation, following earlier payments to hundreds of affected property owners.
