Ibadan LG Chairmen Pay Homage to Olubadan-Designate, Oba Ladoja

Chairmen of the eleven Local Governments that make up Ibadan land, under the leadership of the Chairman of Oyo State ALGON, Hon. Sikiru Sanda Lajue, this afternoon paid a congratulatory visit to the Olubadan-designate, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja

The Chairmen of the eleven Local Governments that make up Ibadan land, under the leadership of the Chairman of Oyo State ALGON, Hon. Sikiru Sanda Lajue, this afternoon paid a congratulatory visit to the Olubadan-designate, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja.

The courtesy visit, which took place at the residence of the Olubadan-designate, was to pay homage and extend goodwill messages ahead of his forthcoming coronation on September 26.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Hon. Sikiru Sanda described the visit as both historic and symbolic, noting that the Chairmen had a fruitful engagement with the monarch. He further pledged the unwavering loyalty and total support of all Ibadan land Chairmen to the Olubadan-in-Council, describing it as one of the finest traditional institutions in the world due to its unique and peaceful succession system.

“As Chairmen, we remain committed to supporting our revered monarch and to replicating Governor Seyi Makinde’s good governance mantra for the progress and development of Ibadan land,” Sanda said.

The Chairmen expressed optimism that the reign of Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja would usher in peace, unity, and unprecedented development for Ibadan land and Oyo State at large.
