Governor Seyi Makinde has increased the monthly subvention of Shooting Stars Sports Club, popularly known as 3SC.
This was revealed at an interactive meeting Gov. Makinde held with the Management staff and coaches.
At the meeting, the Governor also appointed Team Manager, Dimeji Lawal (MON) as Acting General Manager of the club.
Dimeji Lawal will combine the role of General Manager with Team Manager.
Basking in the euphoria of yesterday’s Victory against the Heartland FC of Owerri, Governor Makinde further motivated the Oyo state club to secure a continental ticket at the end of the ongoing NPFL season.
The Ibadan-based club, in turn, thanked the governor for his unflinching support while also unveiling three newly recruited players; Sunday Faleye who returned to 3SC on loan from Czech Republic, Ex- Katsina united skipper, Acreche Sunday and Niyi Adekunle also from Katsina united.
