JUST IN: Angry Mob Sets Suspected Kidnapper Ablaze In Ibadan

A suspected kidnapper, who pretended as a mad person, has been set ablaze by an angry mob in Ibadan, Oyo state capital.

According to an eyewitness, “a man who disguised as a mad-man was caught delivering a toddler to a Venza owner.

“The strange delivery caught the attention of people in the vicinity prompting bike-men to chase him. The man ran underground into a gutter which made bike-men and angry people to set fire to materials and throw into the gutter.

“The mad-man tried crawling into another gutter but couldn’t withstand the heat which made him go out eventually.

“He was beaten and ran into the compound of Jogor-centre where he was brought out, beaten and set on fire.”

When the suspected kidnapper was searched, the names of six people were seen on the list and he confessed that two out of the six people had been killed. A.T.M cards and a knife were also found in his possession.

As of the time of filing this report, the Oyo State Police Command is yet to say anything about the incident.
