The Oyo state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, on Wednesday said he will soon meet with the Osun state governor, Gboyega Oyetola to find a lasting solution to numerous challenges facing Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
The Governor stated this while receiving members of the Institution’s Management who paid him a courtesy call.
He said he is aware that LAUTECH is going through thick and thin but expressed his commitment to rescuing it from the claws of death.
In his remark, Professor Oladapo Afolabi, chairman LAUTECH governing council and the institution’s Pro chancellor, appealed that governor Makinde empowers his management team to put a permanent end to incessant strikes occasioned by inadequate funding.
