Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), has for the umpteenth time been ranked the best State University in Nigeria.
The latest ranking of World Universities by Webometrics, pronounced the institution as number seven among Nigerian Universities even as it got number one mention among Universities of Technology in an exercise premised on three factors: impact rank, openness rank and excellence rank.
LAUTECH scored 1779, 1302 and 2902 in the highlighted factors.
In the meantime, the analysis of the ranking has indicated that no Nigerian University made it to the first 1000 in the world.
