LG Congress: Allow Peace To Reign, OYRUWASSA Chairman Tells Aggrieved PDP Members

The Chairman of Oyo State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (OYRUWASSA), Engineer Najeem Omirinde has urged members of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP to maintain peace ahead of the Local government congress of the People’s Democratic Party.

According to a statement issued on Monday and made available to newsmen, Omirinde called on aggrieved members of the People’s Democratic Party to exercise patience with Governor Seyi Makinde.

He stated that those who are offended in one way or the other as a result of the outcome of the congress should accept it as the will of God and work together as one. He also called on the winners to give their unalloyed loyalty to the Governor.

“I want to see this medium to call on party members and leaders to maintain peace during the conduct of the local government congress of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, scheduled for today.

“In any electioneering process, it is expected to have winners and losers. For those who may be offended in one way or the other as a result of not being the winner, they should be patient with His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde. There are many other good things in the party and government. God will surely reward everyone.”
