LG Primary Election: Oyo PDP Withdraws List of Returning Officers

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has announced the withdrawal of the list of returning officers to monitor Oyo Local Government polls in the 33 local councils in the state.

As contained in a press release signed on Saturday by the Publicity Secretary of the state party, Engr. Akeem Olatunji, the decision to withdraw the list was as a result of careful consideration of complaint received from different stakeholders in the party.


The full statement reads: “This is to announce the withdrawal of the earlier list of returning officers appointed to monitor Oyo 2021 Local Government Congress in the 33 local councils in the State.



“The decision was arrived at after careful consideration of complaints received by the party.

“Any inconveniences caused is hereby regretted as the party will communicate appropriately in due course.”
