Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State alongside the other 16 Southern Nigeria Governors are currently holding a summit in Asaba, Delta State capital city.

Present at the meeting are the Governors of Lagos, Ekiti State, Osun State, Ondo State, Edo State, Abia, Anambra, Enugu, Imo state and others.

Details of the meeting which is being held at the Government House, in the state capital, are yet to be known but the recent attacks on police assets and the killing of policemen in the Southeast and South-south as well as kidnapping are likely to top the agenda of the meeting.
