The Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde has appointed a legal practitioner, Hon. Lateef Sarafadeen Abiola from Onijo compound in Saki West Local Government as Chairman Governing Council of the Oke-Ogun Polytechnic, Saki.

In a letter dated September 13, 2022, Mrs. Olubamiwo Adeosun, Secretary to the State Government, disclosed that Governor Makinde had graciously approved the appointment of Barr. Onijo with immediate effect.

Onijo, who is based in Saki, had previously served as Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Saki branch, was also an external solicitor to Nigerian Army.

According to the letter, his appointment must be seen as a call to service, expecting that he will discharge his duties with absolute loyalty, dedication and diligence.

In the meantime, Onijo is happily married and his union is blessed with children.
