Security: Oyo Govt Set to Spend N603 Million to Procure 25 Operational Vehicles

The Oyo State government has approved the sum of N603,881,050 for the procurement of 25 functioning vehicles for the security operatives in the state.

Hon. Wasiu Olatunbosun, Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism made this known today while briefing the newsmen about the outcome of the State Executive Council meeting, presided over by Governor ‘Seyi Makinde.

Olatunbosun also revealed that another one hundred and seventy-five million, four hundred and ninety-eight thousand and fifty naira, was approved to enhance and protect Operation Burst.

The commissioner, who was accompanied by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Taiwo Adisa, also reaffirmed the forthcoming commissioning of completed projects by the Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi.

Recall that completed General Gas bridge, Idi Ape—Akobo road projects by Governor ‘Seyi Makinde’s administration, will be commissioned on Thursday.
