Makinde Appoints Dotun Oyelade to Lead His Media, Publicity Committee for 2023 Campaign

Prince Dotun Oyelade has been named as the Chairman of the Media and Publicity Committee for Governor ‘Seyi Makinde’s bid for a second term.

The appointment of Prince Oyelade, who doubles as Executive Chairman of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS), was made known on Wednesday by the Director-General of the ‘Seyi Makinde 2023 Campaign Council, Hon Bayo Lawal at Omituntun house, Idi Ape, Iwo Road, Ibadan.

Lawal submits that Oyelade’s appointment was justified by his successful leadership of the Media and Publicity Committee during the state’s 2019 governorship election, which was the basis for the appointment.

Prince Dotun Oyelade, who is an executive media guru with extensive experience, is expected to effectively co-ordinate the Media and Publicity committee of the Governor’s re-election bid to ensure victory for the governor and other candidates of the PDP, come 2023.

Also on the list of the Campaign Council for ‘Seyi Makinde’s second term bid are the Chairman, Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, Dr Nureni Adeniran as Deputy Director-General for Oyo South; Hon Adeniyi Farinto as Deputy D-G, Oyo North; Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji as Deputy D-G Oyo Central; Director of Women mobilisation, Mrs Toyin Balogun; Dikko Salami, Director of Youth Mobilisation.

Mr Taiwo Otegbeye, a former Commissioner of Education, and Alhaji Akeem Azeez, the governor’s personal assistant, are also members of the media and publicity committee.
