Makinde Approves Recruitment of Education Officers

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has approved the recruitment of Education Officers who are to teach in schools under the umbrella of the state’s Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
This was contained in a press statement issued and signed by the Chairman, Oyo State Service Commission, Kamorudeen Aderibigbe. The statement reads:
“This is to inform you that the Executive Governor of Oyo State His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde (FNSE) has approved the recruitment of Education Officers.”

“These education officers are to teach in schools directly under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.”
“The Civil Service Commission is processing the recruitment through conduct of computer based test for all candidates who applied for the job through the State job portal in 2020. The preferred candidates would be University graduates who studied Education courses and passed with a minimum of second class upper division.”
“Equally considered are Candidates with single honors with additional education bias course, such as Teachers Grade Two certificate, NCE or PGDE.”
“All candidates that make the benchmark for the recruitment in the CBT and subsequent Commissioners’ interview would be finally considered for final selection in line with the policy of this administration.

You may wish to send a copy of the computer printout of the said registration of applicants in the aforementioned category to the office of the Chairman, Civil Service Commission on or before Wednesday 17th March, 2021.”
