Governor Seyi Makinde will host today host Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Muhammad who would be performing the Official Commissioning of the 5.25km Gedu-Oroki-Sabo-Ashipa Road.
The road which was earlier awarded in 2020 was billed to be commissioned on Wednesday 16th March but was shifted to today Thursday 17th March 2022 due to a national assignment that involved Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic.
The road will be commissioned at Ashipa junction, behind Alaafin of Oyo Palace, Atiba Local Government, Oyo Town. The event is scheduled to start at 11:00 am.
The Official commissioning will be transmitted live on Channels TV.
Expected at the event are; the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan, Honourable Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Adebo Ogundoyin, Chief Judge of Oyo State, Hon. Justice Muktar L Abimbola, Chairman, House Committee on Works, all the Elected Members of Oyo State House of Assembly from Oyo Federal constituency, and other top government functionaries.
