The Oyo State Government has given out new directive to all caretaker chairpersons and members in the state to transfer leadership to the heads of Local Government Administration

This notice of leadership transfer was communicated in later addressed by the Office of the Commissioner for Lical Government and Chieftaincy Affairs on the 17th March, 2021.

The role transfer comes after the directive is in reference to the expiration of three months tenure extension given to the Caretaker Committee members by the Oyo Assembly.
The now former LG chairpersons and members are expected to handover today while the heads of local government take leadership awaiting the outcome of the scheduled Local Government Elections in the coming months.
