Governor Seyi Makinde has ordered the contractor handling over N65 billion Naira Construction of Ibadan Circular road to stop work at the site with immediate effect.

The Governor gave the order this Thursday after paying on-the-spot inspection to the ongoing construction of the Ibadan Circular road.

Governor Makinde expressed his displeasure over the level of work done at the site despite the huge amount vested into the project by the last administration.

He stressed that the road was approved to the contractor two years ago by the immediate administration but no tangible construction has been carried since awarded

According to him, Government under his watch will not tolerate any forms of contract delay and that Road construction work given to contractor must done within the stipulated time.
