Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde will be celebrating his birthday in Oyo village of Fasola, a departure from previous years when he celebrated in Saki. The event will take place on the night of December 24th and the morning of December 25th at the Fasola Agribusiness Industrial Hub.
The location holds significance as the Makinde administration recently reconstructed the Iseyin-Oyo expressway and revitalized the Fasola Farms, now known as the Fasola Agribusiness Industrial Hub.
In his weekly newsletter, Makinde explained, “The month of December is generally a time for reflection as we make plans towards the new year. It is a time for me to reflect again on why I chose to get into politics. It has always been about serving humanity and moving as many people as possible in Oyo State from poverty into prosperity.”
He emphasized the importance of sustainable development over handouts and palliatives, expressing his commitment to using the 2024 budget to create economic stability for the people of Oyo State.
