NNL: Shooting Stars Defeat Stationaries Store 0-3 to Continue Unbeaten Run


Shooting Stars football club (3SC) of Ibadan has secured another win to maintain their winning streak to 4 games after defeating their fierce rival; Stationary Stores 3 goals to nothing at the Agege stadium, in Lagos today.


3SC player, Gafar Olafimihan had the first shot of the Game in the first minute of the match to prove the readiness of the Oluyole warriors to secure the maximum point.


The Oluyole warriors saw the back of the net when their prolific attacker, Gafar Olafimihan scored a superb goal in the 28th minute of the first half to put the stars ahead in the game.

The tempo of the match increased as the visitors mount more pressure on the Stationary stores in front of their goal. The match came alive at 36th minute when the host attempt to get a leveler proved abortive.


Just minutes before the break, Shooting star’s goal poacher, Gafar Olafimihan recorded another scintillating goal to make the score line 2-0 in favor of the visitors.

The Oluyole warriors were denied 2 goals in quick succession by the store’s goalkeeper; Semiu Adegboyega via freekicks from Malomo and Olawale Mutiu in the 55th minute of the game.

Malomo Ayodeji recorded another banging goal for the Oluyole warriors to make the goal 3-0 in favour of the visiting team.

It is worthy to note that Shooting stars’ goal stopper made a fantastic save to keep a clean sheet in this game.
This win against stationary stores in Lagos has lengthened Shooting stars’ unbeaten run in the Nigeria National league to four games.
