Popular Yoruba Nollywood actress, Bose Akinola, has emerged as the new chairman of the Oyo State chapter of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN).
Akinola, who won the election for a term of four years with 113 votes, would take over from actress, Rose Odika, who was in power for eight years.
Her colleague and best friend, Rukayat Lawal, who announced on her Instagram page on Friday, shared the video of the voting result and the crowd jubilation to Akinola’s victory.
Rukayat wrote: “Alhamdulilah Alhamdulilah Alhamdulilah Robi Al Amin and she won. Congratulations Amoke.”
In the meantime, other actors like Femi Adebayo, Fausat Balogun and Bimpe Akintunde have taken to her comment section to rejoice with her.
Femi Adebayo wrote: “Congratulations.”
Bimpe Akintunde wrote: “Congratulations, Amoke d governor.”
Fausat Balogun wrote: “Congratulations, my darling Amokeade.”
