NSCDC Arrests Two Suspects for Allegedly Defiling Teenage Girls in Ibadan

The Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC has arrested and paraded two suspects for defiling underage girls.

While parading the suspects, the NSCDC State Command Headquarters in Agodi, Ibadan, the command’s Public Relations Officer, DSC Oyindamola Okuneye said the command will not tolerate any abuse of children in the state.

According to Okuneye, while 33-year-old Tunde Kareem who lives in Ibadan defiled his 11-year-old daughter, 46-year-old Amos Michael, a resident of Alakia, Ibadan defiled a ten-year-old girl on the 15th of January 2023.

The two suspects have however confessed to the crime.

In the meantime, the command has warned that it will not tolerate the abuse of minors in the state, adding that the suspects will be charged to court at the completion of investigation.
