NWC moves to resolve PDP SW Crisis ahead of April 10 Congress



The National Working Committee (NWC) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has scaled up the processes for reconciliation of issues that affect the South West Zonal Congress of the party after an extensive meeting.

In an April 7, 2021 statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan, the NWC resolved to do its best to ensure the party wins the South West beyond the current legal issues the PDP is facing in the zone.

The NWC also agreed that a meeting should be convened immediately with the National Chairman, the Deputy National Chairman, the National Secretary, Governor Seyi Makinde, Ayo Fayose and Senator Bukola Saraki’s Reconciliation and Strategic committee to resolve all the current South West issues on time.

According to the press release, it is also expected that the NWC will meet in the next 24 hours to finalize the outcome of the initial reconciliation meeting.
