Obesere Gifts New House to Loyal Band Member, Others Get Lands at 60th Birthday

Nigerian Fuji music legend, Alhaji Abass Akande Obesere, has set a new standard in the Nigerian music industry by fulfilling his two-year-old promise of gifting plots of land to all his band members.

The announcement was made during his 60th birthday celebration at the Anchor Event Center, Agidingbi, Lagos.

Obesere also gifted a new house to his loyal band member, Sharafa Salawudeen, recognizing his years of dedication and unwavering support.

While addressing the audience, Obesere reflected on the significance of the moment and expressed his gratitude:

“This is a promise I made two years ago, and I am overjoyed to fulfill it today. The land was worth N1 million then, but now it’s valued at over N5 million. My band members are more than a team—they are my family. Sharafa Salawudeen, in particular, has been with me through thick and thin, and this house is my way of appreciating his loyalty.”
