Ogbomoso born popular musician, Alhaji Wasiu Salawudeen Gbolagade Ayinde Popularly known as Wasiu Agara is dead.

According to sources, Wasiu Agara slumped on Monday, a few minutes after observing the 1pm Muslim prayer after which was rushed to the hospital but he gave up the ghost before getting to the hospital.

He was buried on Monday at the Muslim cemetery in Ogbomoso.

The 54-year-old musician is survived by two wives and children.
