Oorelope LG Chairman Commence Visitation to Government Schools, Chart Out Strategy on Education



In an effort to boost Education development and complement Governor Seyi Makinde’s effort on Education, the chairman of Oorelope Local Government, Igboho, Honourable Akeem Raheem, has commenced visits to Public schools in the local government.

Raheem paid a visit to Ansar-Ud-Deen Primary Schools 1& 2 in Modeke, Igboho; Migrant Primary Schools Mafowoku, Modeke, Igboho; Adimula Primary School, Molaba, Ago Igi-Isubu; and Baptist Central Primary School, Oke-Afin, Igboho.

Others were the Local Authority Primary Schools 1 & 2, Ebedi; Baptist Primary School, Ona Ago, Modeke and the Community Primary School, Oke Akasa, Modeke, Igboho said his administration would turn around the situation of the primary schools.

The chairman said: “We embarked on visits to some primary schools to know their challenges and chart solutions to the challenges.

“We did this in order to find areas where we can complement the efforts of our governor, His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, in the government’s effort to improve the standard of education in the state.”

“As an administration, we will do everything to ensure the betterment of our education system.”

Members of the legislative arm of government as well as local government officials accompanied the local government chairman.

Mr. Waheed Bamimore Adeola, Headmaster of ADS Primary School, Modeke, Igboho, responded to the chairman’s visit by thanking him for his visits to his school, saying that the move was unprecedented since he joined the service 33 years ago.

He went on to say that Hon. Raheem has demonstrated that he is following Governor Makinde’s lead, which has resulted in enormous construction of education facilities and an improvement in the state’s educational standard.
