Oyo APC Governorship Primary: Six Aspirants to Jostle for Party’s Ticket

As the main challenger of Governor ‘Seyi Makinde will be unveiled today from the main opposition, All Progressives Congress APC, all is set for the 1, 755 delegates from the 351 wards of the party to make their choice.

The six aspirants who have all taken and submitted their N50-million nomination forms are:

1) Akeem Agbaje from Ibadan North West. He studied Law from the Obafemi-Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

2) Hakeem Alao from Akinyẹle LGA. He studied Engineering from the University of Lagos.

3) Azeez Adeduntan from Ibadan South West. He studied Medicine from Obafemi Awolowo University.

4) Niyi Akintola from Iddo LG. He studied Law from the University of Ibadan.

5) Adelabu Adebayo Adekola from Ibadan South East. He studied accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife.

6) Oloye Teslim Folarin from Ona Ara LG. He studied Political Science from University of Ibadan.

From the above, all the six aspirants are from Ibadan; only one aspirant is an alumnus of UNILAG, while two are from UI and three are OAU Alumni.
