The Oyo State House of Assembly Correspondent Chapel has commiserated with the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Adebo Ogundoyin over the death of his mother, Chief (Mrs) Justina Iyabo Ogundoyin.
Ogundoyin, who died at the age of 63, was the Iyaloja General of Ibarapaland and one of the wives of the late renowned philanthropist and business mogul, Chief Adeseun Ogundoyin.
A statement by the Public Relations Officer of the House of Assembly Correspondents, Mr Femi Ojo, described the late Justina as a true mother, who was always after the development of Ibarapa land, Eruwa community and Ogundoyin family in particular.
The statement further said the effort of the deceased towards protecting the legacy left behind by her late husband, Chief Adeseun Ogundoyin remained noteworthy while her commitment to the welfare of her children and entire family was remarkable and unshakeable.
The Assembly correspondents, therefore, urged the Speaker, Hon Adebo Ogundoyin, other children and the entire family to take heart, and be consoled by the fact that the memory of their late mother remains indelible.
The statement further read: “She was a good wife and caring mother, who took after her husband, Chief Ogundoyin in terms of looking after the progress of Ibarapa land and Eruwa.
“We enjoin the Speaker, Honourable Adebo Ogundoyin, other children and the entire family members to take solace in the fact that mama Ogundoyin did her best for the development of her community and life of her children.”
