An indigene of Oyo State, Enoch Adegoke has been officially named the fastest man in the world.
This is sequel to the official listing by World Athletics of the 20-year old’s incredible 10.16 seconds run at the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) All-Comers competition held at the Sports Ground of the Federal University of Technology, Akure last Saturday.
Igbeti-born Adegoke is also the first sprinter in the world to break 10.20 seconds in the first month of the year and the 2019 African U-20 champion leads five other Nigerians in the World 100m top 10 list.
