Oyo Government Announces New Routes as Alternative Road in Amuloko Collapses After Heavy Downpour

The Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA) has swiftly responded to the call for help by Ona-Ara residents and commuters over the collapse of the temporary alternative route, created at the construction of Tioya bridge along Amuloko axis of Ibadan metropolis.

The alternative route collapsed yesterday after the heavy downpour which left many stranded.

OYRTMA had therefore enjoined residents and motorists plying the route to take the following alternative route.

Motorists heading to Amuloko are advised to ply Iyana Awotunde to join Iyana Tioya

Motorists heading to Muslim and environs from Amuloko are advised to ply Abo’nde, Ogbere Area.

Meanwhile, Chairman, OYRTMA, Dr. Mogaji Akin Fagbemi has implored all to cooperate with officials of the authority who have been deployed to maintain orderliness and assist motorists whilst reconstruction lasts in the area, for the safety of all and free flow of movement.
