Oyo Govt Commences Training for 350 Civil and Public servants

The Oyo State Government, on Thursday, commenced a training workshop for about 350 Civil and Public servants.

The training organized by the state Ministry of Establishment and training was flagged off by the executive governor of the state, Engineer Seyi Makinde at the Ibadan Business School, Old Bodija, Ibadan.

The Governor who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Olubamiwo Adeosun, said he has approved the year 2020 training work plan for the Ministry of Establishment and training which was borne as a result of the high premium which the present administration places on the training of its the workforce to bring about desired change and for optimum performance.

In his remark, the Honourable Commissioner for Ministry of Establishment and training, professor Dahud sangodoyin, identified relevant training as a major factor for increased quality and service delivery in the civil service and implored the participants to make the best use of knowledge gained during the training to become agents of positive change.

The participants expressed appreciation to the State government for its commitment to training its workforce, adding that they will channel the knowledge gained to improve their work delivery.
