The Oyo State Housing Corporation has organized a 2-day training workshop for its senior staff.
The workshop which was ”Leadership Improvement, Housing Delivery and Financing Initiatives, was organised to ensure a more productive workforce.
The State head of Service, Alhaja Ololade Agboola who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Service Matters, Alh. Fatai Oladehinde declared the training workshop open today in Ibadan stating that a motivated workforce was an asset to every organization and that the Oyo State government would not relent in its effort at motivating its workers for maximum productivity.
Alhaja Agboola also pointed out that public/civil servants in the state must reciprocate the gesture of the government by being more dedicated to their job.
She then warned against misconduct on the part of any civil/public servant as this according to her would not be tolerated.
Also, the Chairman of Oyo State Housing Corporation, Bar.Bayo Lawal said the training became imperative because of the urgent need to restrategize in the competitive world.
While urging the participants to take the workshop seriously, he revealed that the facility would be extended to all manners of staff for maximum productivity.
