The Oyo State Task Force on COVID-19, has announced that the state has not reported any casualties in its isolation centres since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020.
Mr Taiwo Adisa, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Seyi Makinde and one the Risk Communication coordinators of the Oyo State COVID-19 Task Force, in a statement, disclosed that though thirty one deaths have been recorded in the state since the index case of the virus was discovered in the state, none of them happened in the isolation centres.
The statement reflected that the deaths either occurred at some other medical establishments or private hospitals.
