The gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Oyo state, Barr. Micheal Lana has on Tuesday stepped down for the Executive Governor of Oyo state, Engr—Seyi Makinde’s re-election ambition.

Oyo Affairs gathers that Lana, who made this official in a press conference, has decided to work towards achieving the success of Engr. Makinde in the 18th of March Guber poll in the state.

Oyo Affairs further confirmed that Deputy National Chairman (Southwest) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alh. Taofeeq Arapaja, on a show named Dende Oro with Abolade Salami on Fresh FM, also confirmed this on Tuesday.
