OYRTMA Boss, Fagbemi Cautions Motorists Against Reckless Driving, Rescues Accident Victims at UCH

The Executive Chairman of the Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA), Mogaji Akin Fagbemi on Monday advised motorists to avoid preventable carnages, loss of lives and properties to road crashes.

Fagbemi gave the advice after he led men and officers of the agency to rescue accident victims at University College Hospital, Ibadan.

The accident involved Toyota Hilux with registration number: LSD28BU, which belongs to a Non–Governmental Organisation.

According to him, “We cannot afford further loss of lives and properties, especially on our roads being the most used means of movement.

“I call on all stakeholders in the road transport sub-sector of the economy to support OYRTMA in its drive as lead agency, to eradicate preventable carnages and loss of properties to road traffic crashes,” he added.
