OYRTMA Redirects Traffic at Sawmill Bridge, Ibadan as Container Falls on Road

A fully laden container truck with failed brakes on Wednesday, completely blocked Sawmill road, prompting the Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA) to urge drivers and commuters to use alternate routes to avoid the traffic delay.

The Executive Chairman of the agency, Mogaji Akin Fagbemi gave the update on the traffic situation in a statement on Wednesday.

He added that more officers of the agency have been deployed to the area to control the situation.
