The House of Chief, Parliament building, state secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan, is where the ceremony took place, on Wednesday

The Director-General, OYSAA, Chief Segun Adibi, gave a speech at the occasion, said the launch of the 2021 Mobile Advert Stickers, was to create awareness for individuals and corporate entities that its sales would begin sooner than later.

In Adibi’s statement, the Wednesday inauguration of the sale of OYSAA 2021 Mobile Advert Stickers reflects the government’s bold response to the longings of sub-consultants that the stickers should be manufactured and put on sale early enough, to prevent an unnecessary quagmire.

“Hence the agency is hereby unveiling its 2021 mobile advert stickers meant to be administered on any branded vehicles belonging to individuals and corporate enterprises.” He noted.

He said the agency was ready to organize a synergy, build durable, and enduring relationships with the Mobile Stickers consultants and other enthusiastic companies, based on trust for the benefits of all.

He urged the revenue sub-consultants and vendors to portray the state government very well on the field, by executing the assignment in line with the provisions of Act 21 of 1998 and the procedures of the Joint Tax Board.

He also advised them not to import other mobile advert stickers foreign to ones produced by OYSAA.

He added, “no matter when he/she has been in the business, should produce counterfeit stickers, anybody or corporate concern caught perpetrating such dastardly acts anywhere in the state will be apprehended and prosecuted.”

He instructed the corporate bodies, business enterprises, and individuals, who are the end-users, to conduct their civic responsibilities accordingly when sub-consultants call on them for the list of their branded trucks, trailers, caravans, motor scooters, and motorbikes in their cavalcades.

He also commended Seyi Makinde for his unrivaled and excellent leadership qualities and support to the agency.

Oyo State Mobile Advert Association, Mr. Tajudeen Olaoye, in his speech vowed that the association would give ample backing to the state government, to curb the production of counterfeit stickers.
