Ahead of the Oyo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) state congress scheduled to hold on October 16, the screening committee from Abuja has arrived in Ibadan, Oyo State capital to screen all aspirants who had obtained forms for different positions at the State working Committee of the party that will pilot its affairs for the next four years.

According to reports, tomorrow’s exercise is aimed at screening aspirants on their vision for the party and ways to ensure that the party emerges stronger from its October 30-31 national convention alongside strategies for winning future elections in Oyo State and Nigeria.

Notable among the aspirants to be screened are, Hon Dayo Ogungbenro, Wasiu Adeleke, Hon James Olukunle, Engr Akeem Olatunji, Alhaja Wulemot Ibitoye, Michael Ogunsina, Adelabu Aderemi, Taiwo Alagbe, Waheed Gbadegesin, Opatokun Oludayo among others.

The screening will be conducted at the PDP Secretariat, Molete, Ibadan.
