PDP Primaries: Stay away from LG primaries, Trouble Makers will be dealt with – Oyo Police

Oyo state police Command has given a stern warning to mischief makers to steer clear of the scheduled PDP Local government chairmanship and Councilloship primary. The police command has disclosed that it is ready to provide enough security and also ensure that the exercise is free, fair, and transparent.
The Police Public Relation Officer, CSP Fadeyi Olugbenga in a statement on Wednesday disclosed that adequate security measures towards ensuring althat the PDP primary go on as planned have been out in place.
PDP Primaries for Local Government Elections in Oyo State holds tomorrow Thursday 4th March, 2021 in all the wards of the 33 Local Government Areas of Oyo State.

“In view of this, the CP Ngozi Onadeko, fdc assures all residents of Oyo State of adequate security of everyone by the deployment of officers and men to all wards and vulnerable points. The Command called on all concerned to ensure orderliness in the conduct of the primaries.
“All trouble makers are advised to steer clear the venue of the primary as those caught fomenting troubles will be decisively dealt with.”
The PPRO concluded that any trouble maker will be decisively dealt with by the pangs of the law.
