As part of his tour to Oke-Ogun zone of Oyo State, the state Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde on Thursday arrived at Saki, the food basket of the state, to inspect some ongoing projects in the town.

Among the projects inspected were; Oyo State Agricultural Development Agency (OYASADA) Lodge, Saki Township Stadium, a Maternity Health Care Center at Adabo Market, and the 9.7km Saki township dual carriage road.

During the tour, Makinde announced that the 9.7km Saki Township Road dualisation which he had hoped to commission this December, is behind schedule, and would therefore be commissioned in January when it is ready.

At the Adabo Market which was burnt down recently, Gov. promised to rebuild the market and support the traders who lost goods in the inferno.
