Members of the Olubadan-in-Council yesterday, convened a brief meeting with the designated Olubadan, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin.
Following the passing of the 42nd Olubadan, Oba Mahood Olalekan Balogun, on Thursday at the age of 81, the Council members gathered at Oba Olakulehin’s residence on Friday morning. Oba Olakulehin is next in line to assume the revered position of Olubadan and that will make him the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland under the current Ibadan chieftaincy system.
Among those at the meeting were distinguished members; Senator Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, Oba Amidu Ajibade, Oba Adebayo Akande, and Oba Abiodun Kola-Daisi.
