Oba Mohood Balogun’s wife, Olori Joyce Anene has embraced Islam.
This was revealed in a post by the Grand Imam of Oyo state, Sheikh Abdul Ganiyy Abubakry Agbotomokekere I.
The queen who was said to have submitted to her husband’s persuasions, got converted at the Ibadan North East Local Government Ramadan Lecture, held on Monday at Ibadan Central Praying Ground {Yidi Agodi Gate Ibadan}, under the Chairmanship of Honourable Ibraheem Akintayo.
In the meantime, the Ibadan Queen’s new name is now Olori Khadijah Mahood Lekan Balogun.
