Oyo State Ministry of Public Works and Transport team led by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Infrastructure, Honourable Seyi Adeleye has embarked on an inspection to Otumo bridge, a bridge that links Eruwa to Lanlate in Ibarapa East Local Government Area.
According to the state government, the bridge was put out due to over flooding after heavy downpour.
Recall the Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Adebo Ogundoyin, who is an Eruwa indigene; on Tuesday directed the State Commissioner for Works and Transport and his counterpart in the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, to immediately inspect the Lanlate/Eruwa bridge washed away by flood.
In the meantime, the inspection team are expected to submit a report on the damaged bridge, with a view to taking urgent action.
