The Oyo State Police Command has announced the arrest of two murder suspects in Ayekale area of Saki, Oyo State.

The Oyo State Commissioner of Police, CP Ngozi Onadeko made this known in a press statement signed by the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Adewale Osifeso and made available to newsmen on Wednesday.

According to the statement, the two suspects, 29-year-old Ismaila Wasiu and 35-year-old Mutairu Shittu were arrested on Monday, in Ayekale area of Saki.

According to Onadeko, preliminary investigation revealed that the victim named Mujidat was lured from Lagos through a phone call by Ismaila Wasiu, one of the suspects after which she was murdered by the duo.

According to the statement, the suspects were caught at about 0230hrs on Monday and a fresh human head and a dismembered body of Mujidat was found in the custody of the suspects.

Meanwhile, the CP said that the suspects are being interrogated and the corpse of the victim has been deposited at the mortuary.
